If I could go back in time I would’ve went out of my way to laugh at him and mock him. You know what if that was the case, he was right. My only guess is that he thought it would be funny.
When this memory popped back into my brain I bursted out with laughter. I’ve had many women explain to me why it is such a hoot and now I understand. And I’ve been learning to find these things funny.
However, 14 years later it came back to me. It always made me feel awkward or angry to see such events happen only for an audience to erupt with laughter. Back then I never laughed when someone got hit in the balls. I’m pretty sure that bothered me for quite some time back then and somehow over time I was able to repress that memory. Well except for the boy who got kicked of course. He walked over to a group of girls and pointed it out and saw them either laughing or covering their mouths with their hands to conceal their laughs. The other boy was going around to everyone and bragging about the pain he had just inflicted. He stood in that position until the time I left. The boy doubled over clutching his testicles with one hand and covering his face, which was now as red as his jacket, with the other. Now I have no idea who this kid was and I didn’t then. He straight up kicked him in the nuts out of nowhere and the boy immediately let out a painful groan. We were just cutting up and having a good time when I looked up and that’s when I saw it happen.Ī taller country boy wearing leather boots just walked up to a smaller blonde boy wearing a red jacket. I was talking to one of my friends and a girl that I thought was cute at the time. All of us students were waiting out front waiting to be picked up by our parents. It was after Driver’s Ed, which took place after school. This was the first time I truly saw another guy get humiliated. I mean I had seen a few minor blows, but nothing that the victim could easily laugh off. Specifically America’s Funniest Home Videos. Before I had really only seen it happen on TV and in movies. I was in 10th grade when I first really saw another guy get kicked in the nuts in real life.
